The Ukrainian Armed Forces have put the new UB82D strike drone, equipped with an integrated mine, into service

The "UB82D" unmanned aerial vehicle system, manufactured by "Ukrainian Armored Vehicles," has been officially classified and approved for service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine

This was reported by the manufacturer.

The new system is designed to engage enemy personnel, unarmored vehicles, and enemy firepower from the air. At the heart of the system is the "UB82D" FPV drone on a 10-inch frame with an integrated 82-mm mine.

The company emphasizes that the system combines the warhead and control system into a single unit, allowing it to be used without additional equipment.

“This is already the second drone with an integrated warhead developed by our company. The first was a drone based on a 60-mm mine, which is successfully used by the military thanks to its speed and ease of use. The ‘UB82D’ is a drone with a larger warhead but the same operational logic. Now the military will have greater firepower, range, and flight speed,” noted Vladislav Belbas, CEO of Ukrainian Armored Vehicles LLC.

The system includes 250 “UB82D” drones, a ground control station, an external antenna, a remote control, a case with a monitor and a repeater, as well as a charger.

The company also reported that the UB82D UAV is already available for direct contracting and will soon appear on the DOT-Chain and Brave1 Market platforms as part of the “eBaly” and Defence programs.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has already standardized over 250 component types for unmanned systems. The largest share among them consists of auto-guidance systems, communication system components, ammunition control components, and other key assemblies.

Previously, the Ministry of Defense codified and approved the domestic unmanned aerial system “Volynia” for use by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Previously, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine approved the Shablya MK19(M) remotely controlled combat module for use by the troops. It is equipped with an MK19 40mm automatic grenade launcher.

Previously, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine codified and approved the “Nebokray” mobile workshops for use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The system is designed for the repair and maintenance of drones.

The Ministry of Defense has codified and approved for use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine the new "General Chereshnya" unmanned FPV aerial complex.

The Ministry of Defense has codified and approved for use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine a new Ukrainian-made unmanned aerial system, the V-1. These ultra-light bombers are designed to strike concentrations of personnel, vehicles, and armored equipment.
