The Netherlands has stated that it cannot provide Patriot missiles to Ukraine
The Netherlands has reported that it is currently unable to provide Ukraine with additional interceptor missiles for Patriot systems from its stockpiles.
At the same time, the country is willing to consider other options for strengthening Ukraine’s air defense.
Kees Bakheis, a spokesperson for the Dutch Ministry of Defense, noted that Amsterdam has already supplied Ukraine with missiles for the Patriot system, but current stockpiles are insufficient for new deliveries. According to him, supporting Ukraine in the area of air defense remains one of the top priorities.
The ministry also reiterated that the Netherlands allocates 3 billion euros in military aid to Ukraine annually, and this funding is guaranteed at least through 2029.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian company Fire Point reported on the progress of the Freyja project, which is intended to become a new means of countering ballistic threats. The first tests to intercept a ballistic missile are planned to be conducted after the completion of key stages in the system’s development.
The U.S. will increase production of PAC-3 missiles for Patriot systems.
