Around 5,000 high school students from Lviv region have left the country
Approximately 5,000 senior students from the Lviv region have crossed the border, reported Oleh Paska, director of the Department of Education and Science of the Lviv Regional State Administration. This accounts for 15% of all applicants in the region, marking a significant trend for the local education system.
Such a student outflow could affect school enrollment and the overall educational process in Lviv region. It is essential to analyze these tendencies to promptly address challenges and support the students who remain.
Looking ahead, discussions will focus on ways to reduce the number of departing high school students and create more favourable conditions for their education at home.
