On March 18, the weather in Ukraine will be influenced by a high-pressure system from the north and a low-pressure system from the Black Sea, resulting in contrasting weather conditions.
This is reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
According to forecasters, atmospheric pressure will rise in the lower layers of the atmosphere, while the influence of the cyclone will intensify at higher altitudes. As a result, cloudy weather is expected, with light rain possible in some areas of the Left Bank, and wet snow at night.
A cold air mass will be present in Ukraine, and this will be particularly noticeable during the day.
Winds are forecast to be northeasterly, 5–10 m/s.
Temperatures across the country will range from +3 to -2 degrees at
night and between +4 and +9
degrees during the day.
It will be warmest in Zakarpattia—up to +10…+15 degrees.
In the southeastern regions, temperatures will
range from +1 to +6 degrees at night and +7 to +12 degrees
during the day.
In Kyiv and the surrounding region, cloudy weather without precipitation is expected on March 18.
In the capital, temperatures will be:
at night — 0…+2 degrees;
during the day — +5…+7 degrees.
Across the region, temperatures are forecast to range from +3 to -2 degrees at night and +4…+9 degrees during the day.
