A businesswoman who worked for the "LNR government" has been detained in Kyiv, according to the prosecutor's office

In Kyiv, law enforcement officials detained the owner of a construction company from the Luhansk region who is suspected of collaborating with the occupying authorities and carrying out their contracts.

This was reported by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

According to the investigation, in 2025, her company carried out renovation work at the so-called “LNR government building” and received over 630,000 hryvnias for it.

The investigation established that as early as 2023, while in Kyiv, the suspect, through relatives in the temporarily occupied territory, re-registered the company under Russian legislation and included it in the aggressor country’s public procurement system.

Subsequently, the company carried out work at facilities of the occupation administration, including construction and repair work.

The woman was notified of her status as a suspect in aiding the aggressor state, committed through prior conspiracy by a group of individuals.

The court imposed a preventive measure on her in the form of detention without the right to bail.

At the same time, in accordance with the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

Charges have been filed against top SBU officials who “covered up” amber mining.

The deputy head of the SBU in Rivne Oblast received over $22,000 from a businessman through the same intermediary for ensuring unimpeded amber mining.
