Weather in Ukraine on March 22: A sunny Monday with no precipitation
On Monday, March 23, mostly clear skies with no precipitation are expected throughout Ukraine.
According to weather forecasts, the start of the week will be marked by a gradual rise in daytime temperatures, which will contribute to the spring awakening of nature in all regions of the country.
The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center reports that variable cloudiness is expected throughout the day.
The absence of rain and wet snow will allow city residents to enjoy the first sustained warmth, although nighttime temperatures will still remain quite low.
Winds in most regions will be moderate, with variable directions and speeds ranging from 3 to 8 m/s.
However, the situation is somewhat different in the south and east of the country: a northeasterly wind will prevail there, with gusts reaching 7–12 m/s.
Nighttime temperatures will range from 2° below freezing to 3° above freezing. However, during the day, the sun will warm the air to a comfortable 8–13° above freezing, which is typical for the second half of March in temperate latitudes.
Southern regions traditionally remain the warmest parts of the country.
At night, temperatures there will not drop below 2–7°F, and during the day, the air will warm up to a pleasant 10–15°F, creating a true spring atmosphere.
In the capital and the Kyiv region, variable cloudiness without any precipitation is also forecast for tomorrow. The wind in the Kyiv region will be light and variable, making it as comfortable as possible to be outdoors for walks.
The temperature in Kyiv itself will be around 0-2°F at night, and is expected to rise to 10-12°F during the day.
Across the region, nighttime temperatures may be slightly lower—ranging from 2° below freezing to 3° above freezing—but during the day, the sun will warm the ground to 8–13°C.
