The police took the man to the police station directly from the school bus
In the village of Kozelets in the Chernihiv region, law enforcement officers discovered a violation of military registration rules during a document check involving a man who was accompanying children on a school bus.
The incident was officially reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Chernihiv Oblast.
The police officers acted within the framework of current legislation regarding the control of mobilization measures.
When the vehicle was stopped and the escort’s information was checked, it was determined that the citizen had disregarded the requirements of Article 210 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
This provision concerns violations of military registration rules by conscripts, those subject to military service, and reservists. Law enforcement officers were forced to take appropriate measures directly on the spot.
To ensure the minors’ trip was not interrupted, the police and local authorities arranged for the children to be quickly transferred to another bus.
After the students continued their journey along the established route, the man was detained. He was taken to the nearest Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (TRSSC) for verification of his information.
An administrative report was filed against the offender for failure to comply with registration requirements. The police emphasized that such checks are routine and mandatory under martial law.
Law enforcement officials urge citizens to update their information in a timely manner to avoid delays while performing professional or personal duties.
In parallel with this case, the judicial system continues to respond to incidents of aggression against members of mobilization groups.
In particular, the Industrial District Court of Dnipro recently sentenced a man who started a fight during a similar document check on March 13, 2026.
The defendant punched a TCC representative in the face, causing moderate injuries.
In Dnipro, a man was fined for assaulting a TCC representative
Earlier in Lutsk, teenagers attacked military personnel from the Territorial Recruitment Center during a document check of conscripts.
And the entire personnel of the Bucha TCC were sent to the front following a corruption scandal.
