Police stopped a driver without a license who was under the influence at a checkpoint
In the Svyatoshynsky district of the capital, patrol officers discovered a serious traffic violation.
This was reported by the Kyiv Patrol Police.
While inspecting an Audi at one of the checkpoints, officers suspected that the driver was under the influence of alcohol.
The man agreed to undergo a breathalyzer test using a "Drager" device, which confirmed the officers’ suspicions.
The test result was 0.25 per mille, exceeding the maximum permissible limit of 0.2 per mille. Although this figure is not critical, the law clearly defines the permissible limit for drivers.

A further check of his documents revealed an even more serious violation: it turned out that the man had never obtained a driver’s license at all.
Driving without a license, combined with alcohol, poses a deadly danger to others.
The patrol officers immediately removed the offender from driving and issued an administrative citation under Article 130 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (driving while intoxicated).
A ruling was also issued under Part 2 of Article 126 of the Code of Administrative Offenses for driving without a valid license.
