Poplavsky was found wearing designer slippers worth over 3,000 hryvnias during the search
On March 27, law enforcement officers conducted a search at the home of Mykhailo Poplavskyi, the former rector of the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts.
In the published photos, Poplavsky greeted law enforcement officers in his home clothes—a white T-shirt, pants, and slippers, which turned out to be designer.
The shoes in question are from Tommy Hilfiger’s Sherpa Fur Home Slippers Straps line. They cost around €55.99 (approximately 3,000 UAH), though the price may be lower with a discount.

Later, Poplavsky changed into business attire but kept the same slippers on.
Law enforcement officials are conducting an investigation into the possible embezzlement of budget funds at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts. According to the investigation, this involves a suspected scheme of embezzlement of state funds on an exceptionally large scale.
