An official at the State Employment Center has been notified of suspicion of official negligence due to improper performance of duties during the procurement of server equipment.
According to investigators, the acting director of one of the departments, instead of relying on manufacturers’ prices, accepted more expensive bids from intermediary companies, which subsequently led to a contract being signed with a private firm. The suspect is charged with official negligence that caused serious harm to state interests; however, in accordance with the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
