Compensation Will Be Paid to Those Affected by the Explosions in Khmelnytskyi
Residents of Khmelnytskyi whose property was damaged as a result of explosions at a local military training ground will receive monetary compensation from the city budget. The payments are intended to help people repair their damaged property.
This was announced by Mayor Oleksandr Symchyshyn.
According to Symchyshyn, the amount of compensation will range from 5,000 to 100,000 hryvnias, depending on the extent of the damage.
In total, 326 homes were damaged as a result of the emergency that occurred on July 31. Affected families are already receiving immediate assistance to carry out repair work.
“We have inspected the damaged homes and are already providing building materials. We have an assistance program, and it will vary for each family,” noted the mayor of Khmelnytskyi.
Specialists from city services continue to assess the damage and prepare the necessary documents for the disbursement of financial aid to affected residents.

Earlier, Russia dropped seven aerial bombs on Sumy, resulting in one fatality and several injuries.
Over the course of July 17, Russian troops carried out strikes on Kharkiv and 29 other settlements in the Kharkiv region. As a result of the shelling, two people were killed and 18 others were wounded; among the injured were five children.
