PrivatBank has simplified the verification process for people with disabilities and veterans
PrivatBank has updated its customer verification procedures to make financial services more accessible to people with disabilities, particularly veterans.
This was announced by Natalia Savchuk, Deputy Chair of the Bank’s Management Board, during the 3rd Conference on Veteran Reintegration 2026, “From Duty to Opportunities.”
According to her, the bank has already implemented a number of changes to its services for this category of customers. At the beginning of the year, a dedicated hotline for veterans began operating, which processed over 8,000 inquiries in just a few months.
“Analyzing customer inquiries allowed us to update our internal processes. We have now changed our verification approaches for people with disabilities. In particular, we have simplified the validation process for customers who have undergone amputation or have visual impairments,” Savchuk noted.
The bank is also working on alternative authorization methods in Privat24 for military personnel on the front lines who use Starlink and cannot receive SMS messages or calls to confirm transactions.

Additionally, debt restructuring programs introduced in 2025 for military personnel, rescue workers, law enforcement officers, and their families have reduced the financial burden by approximately 37 million UAH.
Preferential terms are available for veteran sole proprietors—loans with no fees and no account maintenance charges. The bank also announced plans to launch a startup financing program for veterans in 2026 and to develop a business school.
Separately, the bank operates an Inclusive Service Department, which enables access to basic financial services during treatment or rehabilitation in medical facilities and communities.
