Weather forecast for June 19–20: scattered showers in some areas and temperatures up to +30°
On Friday, June 19, brief showers are forecast in some parts of Ukraine’s southeastern regions, and during the day—in most western and northern regions.
Dry weather with no precipitation is expected in the rest of the country. Winds will be predominantly from the northwest, and from the northeast in the south and southeast, at 5–10 m/s.
Nighttime temperatures will range from 11–16°, up to 19° along the coast, and daytime temperatures will range from 22–27°.
In Kyiv on June 19, there will be no precipitation at night, and light, brief showers are possible in some areas during the day. The wind will be from the northwest at 5–10 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will range from 13–15°, and daytime temperatures from 25–27°.
According to data from the “Boris Sreznevsky Central Geophysical Observatory,” the highest temperature recorded in Kyiv on June 19 since records began was 34.4° (1918), and the minimum was 5.9° (1900).
On Saturday, June 20, dry weather will prevail across Ukraine; only in some southern, central, and eastern regions are local, brief showers possible during the day.
The wind will remain northwesterly, at 5–10 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will range from 13–18°, up to 21° along the coast; daytime temperatures will range from 22–27°, and in the southwest of the country, temperatures will reach +30°.
In Kyiv on June 20, mostly dry weather without precipitation is expected. The wind will be from the northwest at 5–10 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will range from 15–17°, and daytime temperatures from 25–27°.
