The Palanka–Mayaki–Udobne border crossing has resumed operations following an attack by the Russian Federation
The “Palanka–Mayaki–Udobne” border crossing on the Ukrainian-Moldovan border has resumed operations. Citizens and vehicles are being processed as usual.
Earlier, operations at the checkpoint had been temporarily suspended after a shell landed near the Moldovan side of the checkpoint as a result of a Russian attack on Ukrainian infrastructure.
According to the Moldovan Border Police, at approximately 9:38 a.m., a shell landed near the “Palanka” border crossing; after hitting the ground, it ricocheted and struck a shuttle bus near the barrier. One border guard sustained minor injuries.

A shell struck a passenger bus near the “Palanka” border crossing on the border between Ukraine and Moldova. The bus was a scheduled service that was hit not far from the border crossing.
Earlier, Russian drones again entered the airspace of Romania and Moldova.
