A adviser to Zelenskyy denied that Ukraine, the U.S., and Russia were holding talks in New York

Dmytro Lytvyn, the Ukrainian president’s communications adviser, denied reports of an alleged trilateral meeting in New York between delegations from Ukraine, the U.S., and Russia. According to him, the Ukrainian delegation is already on its way home.

“The Ukrainian delegation is on its way to Ukraine,” Lytvyn told reporters. 

Earlier, media reports had surfaced about possible talks taking place that day in New York involving representatives from Ukraine, the United States, and Russia.

The presidential adviser also emphasized that the media outlets that disseminated this information do not have sources within the delegation. Thus, according to the presidential adviser, the Ukrainian delegation will not participate in the “announced” trilateral meeting in New York.

However, it is worth noting that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that a trilateral meeting involving U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin could potentially take place in December in Miami during the G20 summit.
