The generator market in Ukraine exceeded 8 billion hryvnia in revenue

Following rapid growth in 2023–2024, the Ukrainian generator market began to slow down, although it remains one of the most dynamic segments. Since 2023, revenue for companies in this sector has grown by an average of 1,088%. In 2024, the market saw another sharp jump—by 1,132%. At the same time, in 2025, growth rates slowed significantly to 65%.

This is reported with reference to a study by YouControl.

Based on last year’s results, capital concentration in the power generator supply segment remains high. To compile the ranking, analysts examined the twenty largest legal entities that were not in the process of dissolution as of April 2026, with the primary economic activity code 27.11 “Manufacture of electric motors, generators, and transformers” and an annual revenue threshold of over UAH 100 million.

It is noted that the highest revenue among these companies that participated in tenders in 2025 was recorded by Eliz LLC—UAH 1.195 billion. Second place is held by Ukrelektroaparat LLC with revenue of UAH 1.107 billion. The top five companies with the highest revenue figures also include EDS-POWER LLC (over 780 million UAH), Fujikura Automotive Ukraine Lviv LLC (nearly 499 million UAH), and Darex-Energo LLC (approximately 296 million UAH).

Analysts note that the financial performance of leading companies shows a steady positive trend. Despite an overall slowdown in market growth to 65%, most companies in the top 20 recorded revenue growth of over 50% compared to last year.

Попри загальне сповільнення темпів зростання ринку до 65%, більшість компаній із топ-20 зафіксували приріст виручки відносно минулого року на рівні понад 50%

In 2025, it is clearly evident that revenues are rising in the second half of the year. This is due to preparations for the fall-winter season. Thus, among the top 20 companies, revenue grew: by 44% in the second quarter, by 65% in the third, and by 67% in the fourth.

The largest amount of funds for generator purchases was allocated in Kyiv, where the total for public procurement amounted to 182.25 million UAH for 2025. The Zaporizhzhia region ranks second in terms of capital investment, with UAH 114.87 million. Significant funding was also recorded in the Dnipropetrovsk (UAH 42.73 million) and Vinnytsia (UAH 10.90 million) regions.

Найбільший обсяг коштів на закупівлю генераторів було спрямовано у Києві

The list of regions with budgets exceeding UAH 2 million for the procurement of generating capacity last year also included the Khmelnytskyi, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Lviv, and Kirovohrad regions. Statistics show that more investments are directed toward energy independence in those regions where infrastructure has suffered the most from Russian attacks.

The Cabinet of Ministershas allocated over 2.5 billion UAH for mobile generators for local communities.

In Kyiv, on the Left Bank and in Pechersk, the situation with water supply and heating remains difficult.

In the Dnipro district of Kyiv, a relief headquarters was quickly set up to assist residents affected by the enemy attack on January 20.

On the night of January 20, Russian troops carried out another large-scale airstrike on Ukraine.

As a reminder, in the Rivne region, a morning attack left more than 10,000 households without power.
