Rutte announced the continued supply of PAC-3 missiles to Ukraine's air defense forces
The supply of U.S.-made PAC-3 interceptor missiles for Ukraine’s Patriot systems continues on an ongoing basis—daily and weekly. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte made this statement during his visit to Kyiv.
According to him, PAC-3 missiles remain one of the key elements of Ukraine’s air defense, and allies continue to fund their procurement and transfer to Ukraine.
“The good news is that the supply of these critically important interceptors from the United States continues on a daily and weekly basis,” Rutte emphasized.
The NATO Secretary General noted that many partner countries have already confirmed their readiness to continue allocating funds for the purchase of missiles for Ukraine’s air defense.
At the same time, he acknowledged that the intensity of combat operations always poses risks to interceptor stockpiles, but this is not currently affecting deliveries to Ukraine.
According to Rutte, the allies are working to increase missile production, build up stockpiles in Europe and the U.S., and find new ways to strengthen collective security.
