Rivne Oblast has handed over confiscated vehicles, fuel, and equipment to the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Since the beginning of 2026, the Rivne Regional Military Administration has transferred confiscated vehicles, a motorcycle, trailers, fuel, lumber, equipment, and other property to the Ukrainian military. All of this aid is already being used to support the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to the regional governor, 24 military units have received the confiscated property since the beginning of the year.
The list of transferred items includes:
- 6 vehicles;
- 1 motorcycle;
- 2 trailers;
- 1,325 liters of diesel fuel;
- 10 chainsaws;
- 88 cubic meters of timber;
- 433 meters of fencing;
- cell phones, laptops, and other equipment necessary for combat operations.
All of this property was confiscated as state revenue for violations of customs laws or as part of criminal proceedings. Instead of being stored long-term or sold, it was transferred directly to the military.
The Rivne Regional State Administration notes that this practice has already become routine.
Throughout 2025, Ukrainian defenders received 16 vehicles, an ATV, a motorcycle, trailers, fuel, chainsaws, timber, laptops, and other equipment.
In the first seven months of 2026, six confiscated vehicles have already been transferred to the military, demonstrating the continued effectiveness of the mechanism for transferring seized property to meet defense needs.
The Rivne Customs Office is also actively involved in supporting the Ukrainian military.
Since the start of the full-scale war, it has transferred 19 confiscated vehicles with a total value of over 2.3 million hryvnias. The total value of confiscated property transferred to the Defense Forces exceeded 7 million hryvnias.
In this way, cars, motorcycles, trailers, and other seized property are given a second life, helping to provide the Ukrainian military with the necessary equipment and material resources.
This was announced by Oleksandr Koval, head of the Rivne Regional State Administration.
Earlier, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius officially confirmed for the first time that Ukraine had already received modern RCH 155 self-propelled artillery systems.
In addition, the United States and Ukraine have signed an agreement providing for the export of Ukrainian land, air, and maritime drones to the U.S. for military testing. Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reported this, citing sources in Washington.
