Bus service through Shehyni–Medyka will be rerouted for over a year due to repairs
Starting September 20, repair work will begin on the Polish side of the “Shehyni–Medyka” border crossing. As a result, buses traveling from Ukraine to Poland will be rerouted to other border crossings.
This traffic arrangement is expected to remain in effect until approximately November 2027.
Three alternative routes have been identified for bus carriers: “Smilnytsia–Kroscienko,” “Nyzhankovychi–Malhowice,” and “Krakivets–Korchova.” The ministry noted that this will allow regular bus service with Poland to continue.
Carriers were also reminded of the “eCherga” rules. For regular trips, registration to depart Ukraine is available 30 days before the scheduled border crossing, and for irregular trips—three days in advance.
The Ministry of Infrastructure urged carriers to take these changes into account when planning routes to Poland after September 20.

The “Starokozache–Tudora” border crossing on the border with Moldova has resumed operations following a nighttime attack by Russian drones. Currently, vehicle clearance is proceeding as usual in both directions.
On the night of September 9, Russian troops attacked the “Starokozache” border crossing with strike drones. Following the attack, operations at the international road border crossing were temporarily suspended.
