The SBU exposed three drug addicts who had set up hotlines for the occupiers
The Security Service of Ukraine has disrupted two schemes involving the illegal verification of Starlink satellite terminals for Russian armed groups. As a result of a special operation in Dnipro and Zhytomyr, three Russian agents were detained.
All of the suspects turned out to be drug addicts who were looking for easy money through Telegram channels.
In Dnipro, a woman was detained who initially registered a terminal in her own name and later recruited acquaintances into the scheme to obtain money for drugs. In Zhytomyr, a local unemployed woman, together with an accomplice, organized the serial activation of terminals at post offices using the personal data of front people.
The SBU has now blocked all illegally registered terminals. The suspects were detained at their places of residence and notified of their status as suspects for obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Part 2 of Article 28, Part 1 of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and aiding an aggressor state (Part 1 of Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
