The average salary in Ukraine has exceeded 30,500 hryvnias — State Statistics Service
The average salary for full-time employees in Ukraine rose to 30,515 hryvnias in April 2026, an increase of 0.5% compared to March.
This was reported by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
According to the agency, the average salary in March was 30,356 hryvnias, and in April it increased by 159 hryvnias.
The highest wage level was traditionally recorded in Kyiv—48,003 hryvnias. Among the regions, Kyiv Oblast took second place with an average salary of 30,584 hryvnias.
The lowest wage levels were recorded in the Kirovohrad region—21,199 hryvnias—and the Chernivtsi region—21,687 hryvnias.

Among industries, the highest wages are earned by workers in the information and telecommunications sector. In April, the average income in this sector was 77,861 hryvnia.
The lowest wages were recorded in the arts, sports, entertainment, and recreation sector—19,855 hryvnias.
At the same time, the State Statistics Service reported an increase in wage arrears. As of May 1, the total amount had increased by 100 million hryvnias, reaching 3.7 billion hryvnias.
