Scammers have started swindling money from fans under the guise of a famous Ukrainian singer

Ukrainian singer Nikita Kiselev has warned his fans about a scam in which unknown individuals are using his name to extort money. The scammers try to convince fans that they are communicating directly with the artist or his representatives.

To gain trust, the scammers use modern technology and artificial intelligence. They may send people fake documents and other fabricated materials designed to create the impression of genuine communication.

The singer urged fans to be cautious and not to transfer money or share personal information with strangers, even if they claim to be him or his team.

Nikita Kiselev Fell Victim to Scammers

It turns out there are fraudulent accounts posing as the hitmaker on TikTok and Telegram. They message users on Nikita’s behalf, establish what appears to be a friendly conversation, and send “personal” photos generated using AI.

What’s more, the scammers may send fake passport information and other “proof” to make it seem as though the singer is actually on the other end of the screen. Afterward, the scammers ask for money—for advertising campaigns, promoting songs, or carrying out various projects.

“I am very upset that someone is using my name and the trust of the people who listen to my music and support me. I never message fans from other people’s, additional, or foreign accounts. I never ask for money in private messages and do not raise funds for advertising or promoting my songs through fans,” Kiselov emphasized.
