Sibiga called for a UN Security Council meeting following a massive Russian strike

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga called for an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council following a massive Russian attack that resulted in the deaths of Ukrainian civilians.

The foreign minister announced this on social media platform X.

According to Sibiga, Ukraine will also use other international platforms to respond to Russian attacks against the civilian population and humanitarian personnel.

The minister noted that at least eight people were killed in the strike on Kyiv, dozens were injured, and some people are still missing.

Sybiga also reported that Ukrainian embassies have been instructed to lower their flags, open books of condolences, and invite foreign diplomats in Kyiv to visit the site of the Russian strike.

Russia cynically called the massive attack on Ukraine a retaliatory strike

Due to the Russian attack in the Lviv region, over 21,000 customers were left without power

As a reminder, overnight, the Air Defense Forces managed to neutralize 693 aerial targets, including 41 missiles and 652 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia’s massive attack on Ukraine is not accidental. In this way, Russian leader Vladimir Putin is attempting to divert the world’s attention from international events, particularly U.S. President Donald Trump’s visit to China.
