The most challenging situation is forecast for the Right Bank, where air temperatures of 0–3°C are expected. For this region, forecasters have issued a second (orange) danger level. Experts warn that a sharp drop in temperature could cause significant damage to agriculture, particularly to early-blooming fruit trees.
The cold snap is caused by the movement of cold air masses, which is a typical but risky phenomenon for mid-April. Gardeners and farmers are advised to take measures to protect sensitive crops. Meteorologists will continue to monitor the situation, as such temperature fluctuations could affect the future harvest of fruit crops in the central and western regions.
