Ukraine has imposed sanctions on individuals and companies that supply the Russian defense industry

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed decrees imposing and extending sanctions against entities that support Russia’s military machine. The new restrictions target 32 Russian companies and 34 individuals involved in the production of strategic weapons, including Iskander missiles and S-400 systems

This was reported by the Office of the President.

In a separate decree, the head of state extended sanctions against 13 individuals and 21 companies, restrictions on which were imposed in 2023. In particular, representatives of the “VS Group Management” group, linked to the Russian “Luzhniki” group, remain under sanctions. At the same time, it is noted that four companies from the previous list have ceased operations, which demonstrates the effectiveness of the pressure.

The new package of sanctions targets supply chains for gunpowder, rocket fuel, and electronic components for precision-guided weapons. The list also includes individuals who attempted to lobby for the lifting of international sanctions against Russia in the U.S. and the EU. Ukraine plans to share data on sanctioned entities with international partners to ensure full synchronization of restrictive measures on a global scale.
