Veteran business status will be available through Diya
The Cabinet of Ministers has simplified the procedure for obtaining veteran business status in order to facilitate employment for veterans.
This was reported by the government.
Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko stated that the new measures are aimed at developing veteran entrepreneurship and creating additional opportunities for former military personnel.
Applications for this status can be submitted online via the Diya portal. Decisions to grant, terminate, or renew the status will be automatically entered into the Unified State Register of War Veterans.
Veteran business status provides access to state support, including grants, financial programs, and preferential terms for business development.
Previously, the Diya app launched beta testing of a new service—submitting applications for one-time financial assistance for active-duty military personnel.
A new inclusive section has been launched on the Diya.Business portal.
Ukraine has authorized the temporary reservation of defense industry employees through "Diya."
