A court handed down a harsh sentence to those who set fire to railroad property in Kyiv
A court in Kyiv sentenced two FSB agents to 15 and 10 years in prison for setting fire to a Ukrzaliznytsia relay cabinet in March 2025.
According to the investigation, the Russian intelligence service recruited two local residents through Telegram channels, where they were looking for “easy” money. The perpetrators broke into the protective casing of the power equipment, set it on fire from the inside, and recorded the fire on video for their “report.” The sabotage was intended to disrupt the uninterrupted logistics of freight transportation to frontline areas.
The court found both defendants guilty of sabotage committed by an organized group under martial law. One of them was sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property, while the other, taking into account his cooperation with the investigation, received a 10-year prison term. In addition, a Russian coordinator of the group from the Moscow region was charged in absentia.

A Kyiv court handed down sentences to three men who, on contract, set fire to railway infrastructure facilities and a military servicemember’s vehicle. The perpetrators were each sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property for sabotage and obstructing the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As a reminder, the SBU detained a woman suspected of working for Russian intelligence services.
