The court has ordered the former director of the Molodyi Theater to remain in custody

The Pechersky District Court of Kyiv has extended the detention of Andriy Bilous, the former director of the Molodyi Theater, until July 10, 2026.

This was reported by the Pechersky District Court of the capital.

Bilous is a defendant in a case involving sexual assault against female students.

According to investigators, starting in 2017, he systematically committed sexual assault against the victims by exploiting his position as a teacher and theater director.

Investigators claim that there are five girls among the victims, two of whom were minors at the time of the alleged crimes.

Bilous’s wife is defendingher husband following his arrest.

As a reminder, Bilous, the former director of the Molodyi Theater, is suspected of raping female students.

Andriy Bilous, the former head of the Molodyi Theater, was also taken into custody on suspicion of sexual harassment.
