Svyatoslav Vakarchuk shared photos of his children on Father's Day
Ukrainian singer and frontman of the band “Okean Elzy,” Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, posted a photo and a message on Father’s Day, in which he introduced his children—his five-year-old son Ivan and his four-year-old daughter Solomiya.
The musician shared his personal feelings and spoke about his experience as a father.
“I never thought I’d have the best days on Earth. Days that are wonderful simply because they exist. But that’s exactly what Ivan and Solomiya’s birthdays have become for me… Born a year and two days apart, they always celebrate them together. And they grow up together. And they learn together. The word ‘together’—that’s what they’re all about,” Vakarchuk wrote.
He added that what he wants most for his children is a happy and bright life.
“And the only thing I, as their dad, wish for them is that they live a long, happy, and bright life. What else could a dad wish for? Their happiness is my happiness! And I’m also very grateful to their wonderful mom, Zhenya—on their birthdays and every single day!” the singer noted.
For reference: Svyatoslav Vakarchuk became a father for the first time on June 19, 2021, when his son Ivan was born. The child’s mother is producer Yevgeniya Yatsuta.
Earlier, the artist also announced his breakup with designer Lyalya Fonaryova, with whom he had been together for over 20 years.

On June 21, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated citizens on Father’s Day.
In Ukraine, Father’s Day is traditionally celebrated on the third Sunday in June. In 2026, the holiday falls on June 21. On this day, Ukrainians congratulate fathers, grandfathers, godfathers, and all men who actively participate in raising children and supporting their families.
