Ukraine Will Respond in Kind to Poland's Unfriendly Actions — Sibiga
Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga stated that Ukraine will respond in kind to any unfriendly or disrespectful actions on the part of Poland.
“We will mirror all actions, especially if those actions are unfriendly or disrespectful toward our country. The time for turning a blind eye is over,” the foreign minister emphasized.
According to Sibiga, Ukraine has always valued its relations with Poland and is grateful for the support provided, but issues of the historical past should not become the subject of political manipulation.
The minister also stated that “disrespect toward the President of Ukraine is not just about medals, but also about disrespect toward Ukrainian soldiers, the Ukrainian people, and Ukraine’s right to its own history.”
Separately, Sibiga criticized Polish President Karol Nawrocki, stating that he is undermining the positive progress made in bilateral relations.
