Svyrydenko: Repairs on Ukraine's major highways have been completed
Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced the completion of priority repair work on national and international highways.
According to her, potholes and other damage to the road surface that occurred after the winter season have been repaired on the country’s main highways.
In total, road services have repaired 14 million square meters of pavement. As the head of government noted, this is the largest volume of scheduled road repairs since the start of the full-scale invasion.
Svyrydenko emphasized that the priority going forward will be the restoration of road infrastructure in frontline regions. Particular attention will be paid to routes that are critical for military logistics and the evacuation of the population.

As a reminder, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a law ratifying a financial agreement between Ukraine and the European Investment Bank for €134 million, which will be allocated to the restoration and development of road infrastructure.
The State Special Transport Service (SSTS) has become the sole contractor for road repair and maintenance work in the combat zone.
