Zelenskyy confirmed he would attend the NATO summit in Ankara in person
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will personally attend the NATO summit in Ankara. The president announced this during a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine will be represented at several key international events in the near future, including the G7 and NATO summits.
“I am grateful to Mark Rutte for the invitation to this summit. We will definitely be there and will work,” the president noted.
At the same time, Zelenskyy emphasized that he is not yet ready to disclose all the details of the Ukrainian initiatives planned for discussion during the meeting. Among the main topics, he cited strengthening Ukraine’s resilience and securing long-term financial guarantees of support.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte arrived in Kyiv on an official visit to discuss further support for Ukraine.
