DTEK has launched Ukraine's first job placement service for veterans with disabilities

DTEK has launched Ukraine’s first job-matching tool for people with disabilities, including war veterans. The service, called “MOZU,” helps candidates find jobs based on their health status, professional experience, and skills.

The system works as follows: an HR specialist enters data from the candidate’s medical report, then selects a region or a specific company. The algorithm then automatically analyzes the information and suggests suitable job openings.

According to Deputy Minister for Veterans Affairs Yulia Kirillova, employment is one of the key elements in veterans’ return to civilian life, and the success of this process depends largely on employer participation.

DTEK notes that the tool was created primarily for male and female veterans returning to civilian life after service with war-related disabilities. The service allows complex medical reports to be adapted to the requirements of specific professions and working conditions.

HRD and Director of the DTEK Academy Olena Semych emphasized that the system helps assess not only a person’s limitations but also their professional potential, experience, and opportunities for future work.

The company also stated that it is ready to share its own experience with government agencies, employment centers, civil society organizations, and businesses to spread similar practices throughout Ukraine.
