Fuel Prices on September 14: How Much Do Gasoline and Diesel Cost?

As of September 14, 2026, major gas station chains in Ukraine have updated their fuel prices. The average price of A-95 gasoline at these chains is about 85.40 UAH per liter, and diesel fuel is 96.61 UAH per liter.

Compared to the previous day, several chains have adjusted their fuel prices.

At the KLO chain, all fuel prices fell by 1–2 UAH per liter.

At BRSM-Nafta gas stations, prices rose by a maximum of 50 kopecks per liter.

At SOCAR stations, A-100 gasoline rose to 100 UAH per liter.

Meanwhile, at “Ukrnafta,” the price of A-95+ gasoline jumped by 3 UAH per liter.

Currently, OKKO, WOG, and SOCAR offer the most expensive fuel, while the lowest prices are traditionally found at “BRSM-Nafta” and “Ukrnafta” gas stations.

After prices fell in early summer, the Ukrainian market faced a sharp rise in gasoline and diesel prices in late July. In August, the price increases gave way to stabilization, and wholesale prices for diesel fuel began to decline.

At the same time, retail prices react to changes in the wholesale market with a certain delay.

“Prices rise quickly but ease much more slowly,” explained expert Mykhailo Gonchar.

Since Ukraine is heavily dependent on imported petroleum products, Ukrainian gas stations primarily follow the situation on the European market.

The final cost of fuel is also influenced by the purchase price, logistics, exchange rates, inventory levels, and demand.

Russian strikes on Ukraine’s port infrastructure have further driven up delivery costs. As a result, some maritime shipments must be rerouted via land, which increases logistics costs.

Russian attacks on Ukrainian gas stations and other fuel infrastructure facilities remain a separate risk for the market.

According to data cited in the article, more than 200 Ukrainian gas stations have been attacked since April.

Major fuel chains are restoring damaged facilities, so the attacks have not yet led to a nationwide fuel shortage.

“There are two main objectives behind this: to sow terror and break the spirit of resistance among ordinary people, and the second is propaganda,” explained expert Serhiy Kuyun.

Experts do not currently view the situation on the fuel market as a crisis.

There is enough fuel in Ukraine, although local supply disruptions may occur, primarily in regions near the front lines.

“A crisis is when there is a shortage of petroleum products and nowhere to get them. Currently, there are certain supply issues in frontline regions, but these problems can be resolved,” noted expert Hennadiy Ryabtsev.

Thus, as of September 14, there is no nationwide shortage of gasoline or diesel fuel in Ukraine, although prices remain high, and the market depends on imports, logistics, and the security situation.

As a reminder, as of September 13, 2026, Ukraine’s largest gas station chains updated their fuel prices. The average price of A-95 gasoline is about 86 UAH per liter, and diesel fuel is about 97 UAH per liter.
