Fuel Prices on April 23: How Much Do Gasoline, Diesel, and Natural Gas Cost at Gas Stations?
As of April 23, 2026, the situation on the Ukrainian fuel market shows signs of stability.
The average price of the most popular fuel brands has essentially remained at the previous day’s level, allowing consumers to avoid sharp fluctuations in their logistics budget.
According to monitoring data, the average price of A-95 gasoline at the country’s largest chains stood at 73.31 UAH per liter.
At the same time, there has been a slight decrease in the price of diesel fuel, which currently averages 88.63 UAH per liter.
The most expensive fuel is traditionally offered by premium chains such as OKKO, WOG, and SOCAR, where service and product quality are rated higher than market averages.
In contrast, the most affordable options for drivers are provided by the Ukrnafta and BRSM-Nafta chains.
In particular, the UPG network has lowered its prices, reflecting the general trend toward stabilization in the petroleum products market.
However, the difference between the highest and lowest prices across different networks remains significant for the average car owner.
An important development for drivers is the launch of the “National Cashback” program, which has been in effect since March 20 at many gas stations.
This government initiative allows citizens to receive partial reimbursement for the cost of Ukrainian-produced fuel.
Under the program’s terms, the refund amount varies depending on the type of fuel.
On April 21, Ukrainian gas stations recorded price drops for all major types of fuel, with diesel seeing the most significant decrease.
Ukrainian gas station chains partially lowered fuel prices as of April 18.
Prior to that, a slight decrease in prices for gasoline and diesel fuel was recorded in Ukraine on April 16.
