Fuel prices on June 3: How much do gasoline, diesel, and natural gas cost at gas stations?
As of June 3, 2026, Ukraine’s largest gas station chains have updated their fuel prices, deciding to leave them virtually unchanged.
Currently, the average price of A-95 gasoline across the country is approximately 76.70 UAH per liter.
At the same time, Ukrainian drivers will have to pay an average of 86.84 UAH per liter of diesel fuel.
Despite the general trend toward market stabilization, Upg gas stations have recorded a decrease in the retail price of gasoline.
The highest prices for gasoline and diesel fuel are currently found at gas stations belonging to the popular premium chains “Okko,” “WOG,” and “Socar.”
In contrast, the state-owned company “Ukrnafta” and the “BRSM-Nafta” network offer the most competitive and lowest prices on light petroleum products for consumers.
At the same time, the state cashback program for fuel purchases, which ran from March 20 to May 31, 2026, has ended in Ukraine.
This temporary anti-crisis measure was introduced to provide financial support to citizens amid a sharp spike in energy prices.
According to official data from the Ministry of Economy, over 2.3 million Ukrainians successfully took advantage of this social initiative.
Under the program, citizens received substantial cash compensation: 15% for diesel fuel, 10% for gasoline, and 5% for automotive gas.
Currently, our country has joined the top ten countries worldwide with the highest rates of diesel fuel price increases, driven by the large-scale war in the Middle East.
Recently, retail prices for diesel in Ukraine have risen by 33.9%. This surge is fully in line with current global trends, although it remains lower than similar figures in a number of Asian countries.
However, leading industry experts are urging drivers not to panic and not to expect the situation at gas stations to worsen.
Serhiy Kuyun, director of the well-known consulting group “A-95,” assured the public that there is no shortage of diesel fuel on the market and none is expected.
According to him, throughout March of this year, total fuel supply volumes to the country have remained stable at the levels seen in 2025.
