Fuel Prices on July 5: How Much Do Gasoline, Diesel, and Natural Gas Cost at Gas Stations?
As of July 5, 2026, Ukraine’s major gas station chains are keeping fuel prices at previous levels, with no significant changes.
The average price per liter of A-95 gasoline remains at 76.23 UAH, while drivers pay about 77.01 UAH per liter of diesel fuel.
Premium chains—OKKO, WOG, and Socar—continue to have the highest prices on the market, offering fuel at the highest rates.
At the same time, the most affordable options for refueling vehicles can traditionally be found at the “BRSM-Nafta” and “Ukrnafta” chains.
Although prices remain stable, the market is still feeling the impact of global and domestic factors, including the consequences of the conflict in the Middle East.
Ukraine has joined the list of countries with the highest rates of diesel price growth, recording a 33.9% increase.
Despite these alarming trends, experts are reassuring the public that there are sufficient resources to ensure the transport system continues to function fully.
Serhiy Kuyun, director of the A-95 consulting group, assured that there is currently no shortage of diesel fuel on the market and no significant risks are expected in the near future.
Pavlo Kyrylenko, Chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee, explained that the state’s high dependence on petroleum product imports remains the key factor influencing pricing.
Following the shutdown of the largest oil refinery, more than 85% of light petroleum products entering Ukraine come exclusively from abroad.
“The main objective factor that has contributed to the price increase is that, following the shutdown of Ukraine’s largest—and effectively only—oil refinery, more than 85% of light petroleum products are now dependent on imports,” Kirilenko noted.
