Fuel prices in Ukraine stabilized on March 30: what's happening at gas stations
As of March 30, 2026, Ukraine’s largest gas station chains have updated their fuel prices. There have been no significant changes: the average price of A-95 gasoline is approximately 72.43 UAH per liter, and diesel fuel is 85.76 UAH per liter.
At the same time, isolated changes have been recorded in the market, according to market monitoring data.
For example, autogas prices rose by 1–2 UAH/liter at some chains, A-92 gasoline became cheaper by about 2 UAH/liter at certain gas stations, while diesel and premium diesel prices increased by about 1 UAH/liter at some chains.
The most expensive diesel fuel is offered by the OKKO, WOG, and SOCAR chains. Meanwhile, lower prices were recorded at Ukrnafta and BRSM-Nafta gas stations.
The rise in fuel prices is attributed to several factors:
- fluctuations in global oil prices;
- the escalation of the geopolitical situation in the Middle East;
- currency factors and the market’s dependence on imports.
The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine emphasizes that prices for petroleum products are not regulated by the state, and the Ukrainian market is entirely dependent on imports. At the same time, the agency plans to assess the market situation.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the government will try to curb price increases. In particular, agreements have been reached with Naftogaz of Ukraine and Ukrnafta to stabilize fuel prices.
In addition, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced that Ukrainians will be able to receive a government cashback when purchasing fuel at gas stations.
Overall, the price increase is a pan-European phenomenon and is not limited to Ukraine.
As of the morning of March 29, fuel prices in Ukraine had stabilized after a prolonged rise.
