Gas prices have gone up: how much does gas cost at gas stations on May 18
Over the weekend of May 15–18, major gas station chains in Ukraine adjusted their fuel prices. Most popular gas stations reported price increases for various grades of gasoline, which affected overall market prices.
Gasoline: Gasoline prices at gas stations rose by an average of 1 hryvnia per liter. Diesel: Diesel prices remained completely stable over the weekend. Autogas: The situation with liquefied petroleum gas varies by network: at OKKO and WOG stations, the price remained unchanged, while SOCAR and Ukrnafta lowered the price of this fuel by nearly 1 hryvnia per liter.
Over the weekend, the OKKO and WOG networks simultaneously adjusted their gasoline prices, raising the cost of all grades by exactly 1 hryvnia per liter. Consequently, their 95-octane gasoline now costs 88.90 hryvnia per liter instead of the previous 87.90 hryvnia.
95-octane gasoline (Pulls and Mustang) rose to 81.90 hryvnia per liter, while standard A-95 rose to 78.90 hryvnia per liter. At the same time, the price of diesel fuel and automotive gas at these operators’ stations remained unchanged.
A similar increase in gasoline prices of 1 hryvnia per liter was also recorded at SOCAR gas stations. NANO 100 gasoline rose in price to 88.99 hryvnia per liter, NANO 95 now costs 82.99 hryvnia, and regular A-95 rose to 78.99 hryvnia per liter.
At the same time, auto gas at this network has seen a price drop of 99 kopecks and currently costs 48.99 hryvnia per liter, compared to 49.98 hryvnia on Friday. At the state-owned “Ukrnafta” network, 95-octane (Energy) gasoline is significantly more expensive for drivers today compared to Friday. It “jumped” by 4 hryvnias at once, rising in price from 71.90 to 75.90 hryvnias per liter.
Other grades of gasoline at Ukrnafta saw the usual 1-hryvnia price increase: a liter of 98-octane (Energy) now costs 81.90 hryvnia, A-95 rose to 72.90 hryvnia, and A-92 to 67.90 hryvnia. LPG at the company’s gas stations has dropped by 1 hryvnia and is currently selling for 46.90 hryvnia per liter.
