Tusk: Poland Will Continue to Support Ukraine Despite Political Disputes

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that Warsaw will continue to support Ukraine in its war against Russia regardless of domestic political debates, as this is, above all, in Poland’s own security interests.

According to Tusk, the country’s position on the Russian-Ukrainian war remains unchanged and is not influenced by internal political struggles. He also criticized Polish opposition politicians who, in his view, are attempting to win voter support through anti-Ukrainian rhetoric.

The prime minister emphasized that Poland will continue to cooperate with Ukraine in the areas of security and defense, and that all military aid to Kyiv is coordinated with NATO. At the same time, he stressed that Warsaw will continue to protect its own economic interests, particularly regarding imports of Ukrainian products.

As a reminder, the U.S. will provide Poland with a $2 billion loan to purchase weapons: F-35 fighter jets, Patriot air defense missile systems, and Abrams tanks.

Earlier, Poland signed an agreement with the U.S. for the delivery of 96 AH-64E Apache Guardian attack helicopters, along with a logistics and training package, for a total of $10 billion.
