The K-2 brigade reminded personnel of the simplified return procedure following the special military exercise
The 20th Separate K-2 Unmanned Systems Brigade reminded service members of the option to return to duty through a simplified procedure after leaving their unit without authorization (LAU). The unit urged soldiers not to delay their decision, as the deadline for submitting a report is set for September 20.
The K-2 emphasized that the return procedure is as simple as possible and takes a minimum amount of time.
“The report takes five minutes to fill out, but it resolves many dilemmas,” the brigade noted.
The unit explained the step-by-step process for returning:
- submit a report via the “Army+” app;
- complete an online interview;
- report to the military unit;
- resume service with all applicable pay and benefits.
According to brigade representatives, service members who have decided to return to duty have already taken advantage of the new mechanism.
One of them is Roman, a soldier who shared his experience.
“I submitted a report, spoke with the recruiters, shook hands—and within about a day, I was officially assigned to the unit. It all went quickly,” he said.
The K-2 Brigade notes that for many soldiers, returning after temporary discharge has been an opportunity to rejoin the ranks and continue their service in a new unit.
“40% of the soldiers in our brigade have returned after their leave of absence. Here, they’ve found support, a sense of belonging, and a new place on the team,” the unit reported.
The military urged those who are still hesitating to take advantage of the current mechanism for returning to service before the deadline expires, in order to resume their service and retain all the guarantees provided by law.

This was reported on the brigade’s official page.
Previously, the “Army+” digital app received a new update designed to streamline and simplify the process of voluntary return for military personnel after unauthorized absence from the unit (UAU).
The “Reserve+” app now features a function for electronic registration with the Territorial Recruitment Center.
As a reminder, “Reserve+” has expanded the list of fines that can be paid online.
The Ministry of Defense also explained the meaning of the “Requires completion of basic military training” notation in “Reserve+.”
