VIDEO: The 406th Brigade Presented the Ukrainian Marine Corps Anthem
The military band of the 406th Separate Artillery Brigade, named after General-Horunzhy Oleksiy Almazov, presented a new musical composition—“The Anthem of the Ukrainian Marine Corps”—dedicated to Ukrainian marines.
The lyrics and music were composed by the orchestra’s chief, military conductor Major Vitalii Matsiuk. According to him, the composition is intended to convey the resilience, courage, and dedication of Ukrainian marines to their country.
The piece was performed by the Military Band of the 406th Brigade. Honored Artist of Ukraine Oleksandr Lebid—a soloist with the Mykolaiv National Academic Ukrainian Theater of Drama and Musical Comedy—also participated in the recording.
The brigade notes that the new composition is intended to serve as a symbol of unity, comradeship, and respect for the marines who carry out combat missions in the most challenging sectors of the front.
