Over 100,000 claims for auto insurance compensation have been filed with "Dii"

More than 100,000 claims for compensation under civil liability insurance (MTPL) have already been submitted through the "Diya" online government services platform, totaling 161 million hryvnias.

The service notes that the program is available to veterans and people with war-related disabilities who, starting in 2025, are entitled to full reimbursement of the cost of auto liability insurance.

“The digital state is becoming even more convenient for those who defend it,” the statement reads.

The compensation mechanism provides that half of the policy cost is covered by the insurance company, and the other half is reimbursed by the state.

The service is being implemented by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine and the Ministry of Digital Transformation in cooperation with the Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine.

Beta testing of a new C3.2-category service has begun in Ukraine on the “Diya” portal, which allows companies to record losses in the international Register of Losses (RD4U).
