Dii has launched a voice chat feature for accessing government services
A new voice service has been launched on the "Diya" portal to help users obtain information more quickly and access government services using voice commands.
The new feature allows users to make verbal requests, get advice on services, and check information about their personal data without having to enter queries manually.
How does it work?
To start a conversation, users need to click the button with a sound wave icon on the portal’s home page or directly in an open chat. After the user voices their request, “Diya.AI” processes it, provides a voice response, and displays a text transcript on the screen. The entire conversation history is saved in the system for later review.
Voice mode is activated only after the user confirms it in their profile settings. For ease of use in public places, “Diya.AI” uses an interactive sound wave that adapts to the user’s speech intonation.
Voice chat supports all the features of standard text chat. Users can verbally ask the system to:
provide information about government services on the “Diya” portal;
find information about their sole proprietorship;
check their insurance history;
request an income statement.
After that, the assistant will perform the action or provide instructions for the next step.
This new format simplifies access to government services, making them accessible to people who find it easier to communicate by voice than to type or read information from a screen. To ensure clear and natural-sounding responses, technology from ElevenLabs has been integrated.
This was reported by the press service of the government web portal.
Dii has changed its Starlink verification rules.
The French company Groundspace plans to test its own detector for identifying Starlink satellite communication terminals in Ukraine. The technology is to be tested under real-world conditions.
