In Dnipro, a man subject to military conscription died while undergoing a military medical examination; he had previously been stopped on the street for a check of his military registration documents.
This was reported with reference to a statement by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support on Facebook.
According to preliminary information, after his documents were checked, the man was sent for a medical examination. While undergoing the medical examination, he suddenly fell ill and could not be saved.
The Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support reported that an official investigation has been launched into the death. The circumstances of the incident are currently being investigated.
According to the regional TCC, the incident occurred on May 5.
While checking military registration documents, a notification team consisting of RTSC and SP military personnel and a representative of the National Police stopped a conscript.
The recruitment center claims that the detained citizen was in violation of military registration requirements and was subject to conscription.
"While undergoing a medical examination, the conscript felt ill, and an ambulance was called. The medical personnel who arrived at the scene provided emergency care for 45 minutes, after which they pronounced him dead," the statement reads.
An internal investigation has been launched, and a criminal case has been opened.
The TCC added that the leadership and personnel of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Registration and Enlistment Office and the Special Forces are providing full assistance to law enforcement agencies and cooperating with the investigation.
