In the Kharkiv region, the evacuation zone in the Chuhuiv district has been expanded
The Kharkiv Regional Defense Council has decided to evacuate nine villages in the Starosaltivska community of the Chuhuiv District. Specifically, the decision calls for the mandatory evacuation of families with children.
The decision was prompted by a significant increase in the intensity of enemy shelling of these settlements. Currently, 865 residents remain there, including 58 children and 64 people with limited mobility.
Evacuation routes have already been mapped out in detail, and temporary housing has been arranged for the evacuees.
This was announced by Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
The Sumy Regional Defense Council has decided to evacuate 543 people from eight settlements. These are the Yunakivska and Myropilska communities.
The day before, rescuers in Kostiantynivka found a woman alive who had spent nearly a day trapped under the rubble of a nine-story building destroyed by Russian airstrikes.
