In Kyiv, inspectors rescued an injured fox

In Kyiv’s Obolon district, inspectors spotted an injured fox on the side of the road. The animal was very weak, unable to stand up, and in need of veterinary care. The inspectors picked her up and took her to an animal shelter.

In Kyiv, patrol officers helped an injured fox they found on the side of the road in the Obolon district. The animal was lying right next to the road and could barely move. The fox was exhausted and, according to the inspectors, needed professional help.

Partners Danylo Kucherenko and Yaroslav Omelchenko did not leave the animal behind. They carefully carried the fox to their patrol car. The officers then took her to an animal shelter. There, veterinarians will examine the fox and provide her with the necessary care. Specialists will now care for the animal. They will monitor its condition and decide on the next steps following the examination and treatment.

The inspection office thanked their colleagues for their compassion and for not walking past the injured animal. They also extended special thanks to the staff at the animal shelter who helped take in the fox and care for her. Sometimes it’s not just people who need help. This time, the compassion of Kyiv’s inspectors helped save an animal that could no longer get itself out of a dangerous situation on its own. This was reported by the Kyiv Patrol Police.
