In Kyiv, the former acting director of the municipal enterprise "Holosiivsko-Budinvest" has been notified of charges against him for promising employment in exchange for money, with the subsequent arrangement of an exemption from mobilization.
This was reported by the Holosiivskyi District Prosecutor’s Office of Kyiv.
According to the investigation, the suspect, who no longer worked at the company, used his connections to offer a man subject to military service assistance with employment, which was supposed to secure an exemption from conscription.
He demanded $17,500 for his “services.” He initially received $2,000, and was detained while receiving the second installment—$15,500.
The man’s actions were classified under Part 3 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine—obtaining an unlawful benefit by influencing decision-making.
He faces three to eight years in prison with confiscation of property.
Additionally, the court ordered the seizure of over 48 million hryvnias from an official at the environmental inspection agency.
