A woman carrying more than 2.5 kilograms of psychotropic substances was detained in Kyiv

Law enforcement officials have charged a 25-year-old woman from the Kyiv region with organizing a large-scale distribution of narcotics and psychotropic substances on an exceptionally large scale.

This was reported by the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office.

Under the procedural supervision of the Shevchenkivskyi District Prosecutor’s Office of Kyiv, the woman is charged with violating Part 3 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The suspect set up a drug operation directly in her own home, turning it into a wholesale warehouse.

To distribute the prohibited substances, the suspect used common logistics schemes, including shipping via parcel lockers.

The investigation documented that she managed to send 43 packages containing drugs to various regions of Ukraine.

In addition, the sale of psychotropic substances was carried out through so-called “stashes” on the street near the building where she lived.

During authorized searches of the suspect’s apartment, law enforcement officers discovered a large quantity of narcotics and materials prepared for their subsequent packaging.

In total, police seized 2 kilograms of the psychotropic substance PVP, 500 grams of 4-MMS (mephedrone), 300 MDMA pills (ecstasy), 200 grams of amphetamine, and half a kilogram of cannabis.

In addition, 200 grams of alpha-PVP and 50 grams of cannabis had already been carefully packaged and were fully ready for shipment to customers.
