In Lozova, the parents whose daughters danced to Russian music on the Walk of Fame will stand trial

In the city of Lozova in the Kharkiv region, two underage girls danced to Russian music in front of photographs of fallen Ukrainian defenders displayed on the Walk of Fame and recorded a video of it. Juvenile police officers discovered the video while monitoring social media and identified the participants in the incident, who turned out to be girls aged 12 and 13.

Following an investigation, administrative charges were filed against the teenagers’ parents for failing to fulfill their child-rearing obligations under Part 1 of Article 184 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses; these charges will be referred to court. Law enforcement officers also held preventive discussions with the schoolgirls and their parents regarding the unacceptability of such actions in the future and the importance of honoring the memory of fallen soldiers.
